        Although it's true that some communities tend to re-segregate over time, we do have some examples of communities that are actually integrated or racially/economically stable. Such integration was the result of a combination of policies & approaches including affirmative marketing, fair housing, inclusionary zoning & mixed-income development.

        Not sure about this one. Recent studies on Hope IV projects, which are focused on income-level integration, and often are "mixed" in terms of race, have shown that populations tend to self-sort, and very little mixing actually occurs. I'm not sure if such integration can be a matter of policy, or what effect such policies would actually have.
