Invest $500 billion over 10 years to develop our clean-energy economy, thereby creating 5 million good-paying jobs, enabling energy-independence, and leading the world in combating climate change.

This is my short summary of the Apollo Program, named in inspiration of the challenge President Kennedy set for this country to respond to the Soviet space advances.

It is only through this kind of massive investment in our clean-energy economy that we can address the many challenges that face our country and this planet.
